Ooty stool by Allermuir among 10 new products on Dezeen Showroom

Dezeen Showroom: a versatile plywood stool designed to integrate into any interior setting is among 10 new products featured on Dezeen Showroom.

Ooty stool by Allermuir

British design duo SmithMatthias has created a stackable stool made from plywood for London furniture manufacturer Allermuir.

Ooty has a simple rounded triangular seat supported by three legs and comes in either natural or colourful lacquered finishes with the option to add a soft upholstered seat cushion.

The stools were recently featured on Dezeen Showroom alongside a collection of poufs designed to be moved around into different configurations and a modular system of storage and accessories designed to combine office booths together.

Bao Collection poufs by Alda Ly Architecture for HBF

Furniture brand HBF worked alongside interiors firm Alda Ly Architecture on a collection of poufs designed to facilitate informal meetings.

The Bao Collection comes in high- and low-back variations that provide both support when seated and a handle for easy transportation. A backless version can be stacked when not in use.

Link modular storage system by Askia Furniture

Romanian brand Askia Furniture has created a modular collection of add-on accessories for its Kameleon Office Booths.

The Link modular storage system includes a number of accessories such as pin boards, plant pots and coat hooks as well as lockers and cupboards for storage.

Irish Green marble by Alessandro La Spada for Antolini

Italian stone brand Antolini and designer Alessandro La Spada collaborated to create a surface finish reminiscent of the striated quality of marble.

Irish Green has an off-white background with distinctive streaks of vivid apple-green running through it alongside darker pigmented shades.

The Factory outdoor furniture collection by Ramón Esteve for Vondom

Designer Ramón Esteve and Spanish furniture brand Vondom worked together on the design of an outdoor furniture collection that draws influence from New York City's cast iron architecture.

The Factory comprises seating, including armchairs, modular sofas and lounge chairs as well as side tables, high tables and coffee tables that all share characteristic panels of diamond-shaped mesh.

Nei table by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for Koyori

Japanese furniture brand Koyori and design duo Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec have released a dining table made from solid oak that has a distinctly simple composition.

Nei consists of three components – the tabletop, legs and reinforcements – which share tapered details that gives the table an air of elegance.

Mangas Outdoor rugs and seat covers by Patricia Urquiola for Gan

The texture of knitted jumpers was the main influence of designer Patricia Urquiola when designing this collection of outdoor rugs for Spanish brand Gan.

The Mangas Outdoor range contains cushion covers as well as rugs that are all made of colourful and chunky yarn derived from discarded plastic bottles.

Usurai table by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for Koyori

Brothers and designers Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec worked with Japanese furniture brand Koyori to create a table made from laminated plywood.

Usurai comes in a rectilinear format from which users can choose between two widths, as well as a round tabletop. Both share a core made from white beech that is overlaid with strips of oak.

Vestige lamp by Ross Gardam

Australian designer Ross Gardam's Vestige lamps are designed to emulate the blockiness and solidity of Brutalist architecture.

The lamps are manufactured by glass artist Peter Kovacsy from cast crystal glass, which has characteristic inclusions that are illuminated by the lighting fixture inside.

Re.Wrap by Ric Frampton for The Collective

British designer Ric Frampton took cues from origami for his system of acoustic panels for The Collective.

Re.Wrap can be applied to both walls and ceilings and is made from 100 per cent recyclable reclaimed and waste PET plastic.
